Description

openArchiveMediator is high-performance middle-ware for time-series databases. It proxies access to a host of common process historians, abstracting their API's. It presents application/visualization developers with a set of language/platform neutral APIs that are translated to a variety of back end implementations. It also acts as a "sharding" layer, allowing system architects to divide large systems across multiple databases, yet present applications with a single consistent view. Scale your systems out, not up!

Features

  • High performance socket API backed by ProtocolBuffers
  • Clients for major languages including C#, Java/Scala, and C++
  • REST API returning JSON or XML
